Overview / Description / Introduction ‘Kubur’ is the name given to cylinder carton boxes, which were originally used to carry arrows. The word "kubur" comes from the Arabic word “kabr” meaning “deep hole”. This is because of its cylinder form. Additionally, Kubur was also used to carry Ottoman Sultans' Fermans (Written Orders) and calligraphy artists' writing tools.
