There is an old saying in Turkey that there are “120 ways to string a bow,” though the most common methods involve sitting on ground with one’s feet pressed against the grip.

Traditional Archery was used for various purposes throughout the Medieval Turkish World. Among these are hunting tools, weapons for war, holy objects, and political symbols.

The artist of this workshop is a female archer with international awards.

In this workshop, you will learn how to make real arrows and decorate them by using traditional techniques. You can later keep your own arrow as a souvenir.

You can also ask questions of the artist.

Even if you are not staying in this vicinity, you will likely be in our neighborhood as we are only 5-minute walking distance from Taksim Square or the pedestrian street of Istiklal. The Çukurcuma Antiques neighborhood is nearby too.

How to get to C.I.P from Taksim Square?

Take the Sıraselviler street, pass the German Hospital, enter the Soğancı street by turning left from the first corner. Second block on the right.

Private car park is available at the Soğancı street.
